TIPS from THE NATIONAL CANDLE ASSOCIATION

• Votives are made to liquefy: burn them only in appropriate holders.
• Never burn votives freestanding.
• Remove the warning label on the bottom of the votive before burning.
• Place a teaspoon of water in the bottom of the votive holder before lighting.
